what did we do on the fourth of july?


We started the morning by participating in the Kollas-Cranmer Memorial Run/Walk. The route was 7.5 miles and started at Mid Valley Elementary School in Odell (the school where I did my praticum).

From there it wound through Odell past an old barn...

where cows graze.

The route continued along, past another barn...

along Tucker Road ...

where Glider Rides are offered...

and airplanes take off from the airport.

At the four way stop near Windmaster Market, the route veered left past the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum and continued into town...
until the final destination at Jackson Park in Hood River.
That evening we were invited across the river to watch the Hood River fireworks...
from Washington.

As you can see, we had a great view of the fireworks and Hood River!
