They issued a Tsunami Warning.
This morning at 4:45am I received a knock at my door from Wendy Higgins, the general manager of The Ocean Lodge, telling me we had to evacuate Cannon Beach by 6:00am. Foster and I quickly packed our things and were on our way home by 5:00am. We passed many cars along the side of the highway waiting out the warning.
We are now at home, safe and sound, enjoying the sunshine.
What an adventure.....I would be enjoying the sunshine too! WHAT A TRADGEDY IN JAPAN. So glad your safe and sound. By the way, that photo of the sunset is awesome. You better be careful, you might give your sister a run for her money.
