how were the last two days at mt. hood meadows?

Fantastic! This was the last weekend of the season at Mount Hood Meadows and we were able to ski with the Olhavas! They flew into town Friday night and were up early Saturday morning ready to ski.

Alex experienced his first ski lift ride...

and "spanked" Buttercup.

Pete was the hit of the kiddie parade with the infamous snowball maker.

The sun was shining and the mountain was out.

We had an amazing season!!

Mt. Hood Meadows has a great diversity of runs and an okay pick of different ski lifts. No matter if you're skiing or snowboarding, around here, you'll encounter
loads of good ski hills. Winter in the mountains of Oregon and the glorious feeling of coasting down the ski slopes are reason enough to come here to ski.

This ski resort has a drop from top to bottom of 2,777 feet which is beyond doubt astonishing. With a grand total of 87 trails to ski on; there are plenty trails for every skill. Snowboarding and skiing in this region is lots of fun every day of the winter. This ski mountain has a good pick of slopes to suit all abilities; there's no way to get bored here.
