Neiman Marcus Cookies (read about the legend here).
They are like regular chocolate chip cookies, except they have grated Hershey bar and ground oats. The oats seem to be the secret ingredient producing the perfect consistency every time.

Here's the recipe (may be halved):
4 cubes butter
2 cups sugar
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla
4 cups flour
5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to make a fine powder)
1 t salt
2 t baking powder
2t baking soda
24 oz. or 2 packages of chocolate chips
1 8oz Hershey Bar (grated)
3 cups nuts (optional)
Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet..Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies. Enjoy!
