how did we celebrate the second night of hanukkah?
By hosting a party for the Jewish Learning Institute.
For the past couple of years Ben and I have taken courses about Israel and Judaism taught by Rabbi Motti Wilhelm (pictured above). He's an incredible instructor. We learn a lot from his courses and enjoy his style of teaching. This year he wanted to have a Hanukkah Party for the class participants. He asked us to host and we agreed.
We lit the menorah, watched an inspirational video, played Pin the Flame on the Menorah & Dreidel, had a latke making station and a lot of goodies to eat.
Mimi (the Rabbi's wife) won Pin the Flame on the Menorah...
and Rabbi Motti won the Dreidel Game. We had a GREAT time!
