what trail do the crag rats use for search and rescue on mt. hood?
This one. The trail starts at the parking lot near Cloud Cap Inn. A view of Mt. Hood along the way. A stream created from snow run-off... which also serves as a watering hole for Foster. Foster and Ben working their way up the mountain. Above the timberline, desert plants emerge. Formed by Eliot Glacier runoff. Here's a hut you can camp in overnight- complete with a fireplace. Foster and Ben with Hood River Valley in the background. Getting closer to Mt. Hood. Foster leading the descent. Stopping at Cloud Cap Inn at the end of the hike- home of the Crag Rats.
